His current research interests include informatics education and information systems. He has been active also in algorithms and data structures, databases and geographical information systems, tools and environments for interaction with information systems, cooperative and distributed information systems, and bio-informatics; doing also some experiments with digital art.

A positive vision of connectivity for society
My naïvety about twenty years ago to think a full imaginary of technology was founded on knowledge of narrative principles and a firm belief in the emancipatory drive of non-reciprocity in the internet protocol and web. It was just not a set course how long it would take for the old book paradigm institutions to understand it was not a full frontal attack but a new iteration in and of democratic emancipation of raising the voice of citizens and small initiatives in the skewed power structure that has arisen since the Industrial Revolution.
