Marino Linaje got a PhD in Computer Science in 2009. Currently, he is teaching and researching at the University of Extremadura. His research has been focused on applying systematic development to multimedia highly interactive web user interfaces mixing the Web Engineering and the HCI points of view. He has published several papers related to this topic in top level conferences as well as international journals since 2004. He is also co-founder of two companies focused on multimedia and web development (MultipleCaracter and Homeria Open Solutions). From 2010, he is researching and teaching Ubiquitous Computing including trending topics such as Internet of Things, Wearable Computing, Ambient Intelligent, Crowdsensing and close related ones.
