Marleen Wynants (1958) is an independent journalist, publicist and consultant. She worked as music producer and content researcher for the official Belgian Radio and Television in its pre-commercial stage. She was the editor of the post-punk magazine Fabiola, leaving the scene in 1988, the year that Hillel Slovak, Chet Baker, Divine, Sylvester and Roy Orbison died. She published articles for the major media groups in Belgium, wrote books for children, organised educational workshops and published articles and columns on ICT, on interdisciplinary science projects and on the people behind them. At present she is the director of CROSSTALKS, the interdisciplinary university and industry network of VUB.
