Parag Chatterjee works as a researcher at National Technological University (Universidad Tecnológica Nacional) in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Also he is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Biological Engineering in the University of the Republic (Universidad de la República), Uruguay. He received his Bachelor’s degree (B.Sc.) in Computer Science from Scottish Church College, University of Calcutta, India in 2013, followed by the Master's degree (M.Sc.) degree in Computer Science from St. Xavier's College - Kolkata, University of Calcutta, India in 2015. He is working in the field of Internet of Things, especially in the aspects of eHealth and to research on the methodologies for better prevention of cardiometabolic diseases.
Chatterjee has authored several scientific papers, published in international journals and presented at international conferences. He is also the editor of “The Internet of Things: Foundation for Smart Cities, eHealth and Ubiquitous Computing”, published by CRC Press (Taylor & Francis) in 2017. He delivered invited talks and keynotes at reputed institutions like Indian Institute of Science (IISc Bangalore, India) and University of Rome Tor Vergata (Italy), and also at international conferences like IoT Week 2017 Geneva (Switzerland), SICC-2017 Rome (Italy), and ExpoInternet LatinoAmerica 2017 (Argentina). He is the member of the editorial and reviewer boards of more than ten international journals and member of program committees in several IEEE international conferences.
