6G and Sovereignty debate at TECHEX Amsterdam

Rob van Kranenburg: I am happy and honoured to plan and host a panel on 6G in the #edge section of #Techex#Amsterdam.

TECHEX

A lot of competition globally as we speak.

We need architectures that get the balance IoT, AI, 6G right, because although we can plan for semi-autonomous, the tendency towards autonomy in the network will be strong. We still need human in the loop, oversight and audibility of AI Agents.

#6G will have more masts and higher frequencies. Already we see misinformation. The industry must build a common media and story alignment showing the potential for human centric support.

We are nearing a provisional ‘end’ point of ‘total’ connectivity since Mark W eiser wrote about ubicomp in the 90s and the days of the Disappearing Computer.

We need strong governance with Telco experts, mathematicians and scientists, philosophers and sociologists.

That is why I am also hosting a workshop on sovereignty and governance.

I am grateful to Dave Durant from #Techex to host both actions in a place with real business, real urgency, clear use cases and demand driven companies.

Au boulot!
