Seven Guidelines for mixed teamwork

Although there are mixed signals about AI adoption, as it is costly and not showing business value[yet, we have to prepare for three situations: official AI adoption across the units (ideally bottom up, without any central horizontal strategy, Shadow AI; employees using  their own AI solutions because they feel the company is not providing the right tools and AI agents, agentic AI that functions as a semi-autonomous software able to understand a basic task, execute it and report back.

The risk of employees using unauthorized free online AI chatbots, plug-ins, or coding assistants that can lead to regulatory problems is significantly lower when employees working together in a unit can decide about their AI tooling practice.

At this stage it is vital to launch AI agents that connect to tools, software, and databases to perform actual tasks from a central location in the company that can manage as well as possible traceability, and auditability.
